Like the Mallory TV-101, the General Instruments model GI-66 UHF converter seems to have been cloned by a number of different manufacturers. I attribute the original design to GI, since it was a major maker of TV tuners, and Silverline was a brand of General Instruments. The disk-type dial is the continuing design element among the many makes, and the innards are the same, though the cabinet type and materials vary. I believe that the chassis was used in some other brands' converter models, with a different dial type.
